Enabling a CORS Header for Your Account

Using a CORS (Cross-origin resource sharing) Header is a mechanism that allows restricted resources (e.g., fonts, JavaScript, etc.) on a web page to be requested from another domain outside the domain from which the resource originated. This allows you to set Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * on requests to your CacheFly account, and is required to load objects using XMLHttpRequest() across domains.

To enable a CORS Header for your account, click on Delivery Options and then the CORS Header submenu. The CORS Header screen, illustrated below, is displayed. Follow the steps below to set up CORS Header for your account.

1. Move the CORS header enabled slider to the ON position.
2. Click Save to save this setting to the system. As shown in the following illustration, the system confirms that this functionality has been enabled.
